Cindy is a certified art instructor and has been teaching adult and children to paint since 2004. She teaches on surfaces beyond the standard canvas including glass, wood, metal, fabric, stone, horns, feathers, wall murals inside and outside. She also is certified in face painting. Cindy is a Certified Grumbacher Art Teacher , Certified Donna Dewberry Instructor and a Wilson Bickford Painting Partner. Cindy is also a polymer clay Home Dimensions instruction and has been published in the Decorating Digest Home and Craft Sept/Oct 2009 edition for a wedding cake topper created for the bride to match her bouquet. Join us at St. Simons for "Going to Oz". This fun filled event is in the planning stages. Teachers submissions due by August 29 the and classes to be announced shortly thereafter. For more information go to Artteachers.org South East Chapter or reach out to Cindy for more information.
Cindy joined TEAM SE in 2010 and quickly became one of the event teachers. She joined the event Planning Committe in 2011 and in 2013 she became the Chairperson for the Planning Committee and remains in that position today.

In July 2014 Cindy taught 2 classes at the Houston Art Expo. "Precarious Perch" taught the students how to use crackle medium to create an old antique weather door look. Her "Home on the Range" painted on a Water Buffalo horn was a unique surface brought to the show for the first time. These horns come in many sizes, shapes, colors and styles. They are perfect for desks, end tables and an excellent choice for those of us running out of wall space !
Creative Painting Las Vegas
February 22-27, 2015
Join Cindy in Las Vegas for "Freedom", a beautiful Eagle head superimposed on the American Flag, all painted on an Osceola Turkey Feather. You will receive the feather you will paint on, a second feather to take home and practice with, a choice of display stands for your feather, an instructional packet and photos. Cindy's first class has already sold old and a second time slot is filling quickly. You will also be able to visit with her during a demo of unique surfaces at the event hall and at her booth where she will have her surfaces and more for sale.
